Roof fan vent

The roof fans are good but with out a cover in the rain are useless. How are you T@ber's using these? I am thinking about installing a Maxxair deluxe maxx fan. Has anyone attempted this yet? Lots of questions before the new trailer arrives.

In my opinion, a cover is essential. Was one of the first things I added.
Been many people that have installed vents/fans so a search should turn up the info you need.
The one warning on the fan I'd give though is it's a battery hog so if you're not hooked up or have solar to keep your battery charged it has limited use.

I believe the MaxxAir amp draw is less. Tabasco, if they have not started your build yet, call your dealer to see if you can have the MaxxAir Deluxe installed instead. It won't be the first time for this request.

What you are probably looking for is a MaxxFan Deluxe. This is an all in one unit with a 10 speed fan, temperature control, and will keep out the rain whether it is opened of closed. It can also act as a ceiling fan when closed.

We installed one about 18 months ago, and while not cheap, it has proven to be well worth the upgrade.

I ordered a Maxxfan Deluxe and I love it. Have your dealer give the factory a call and see if they can install it. There will be an upcharge.

What model of Maxxfan Deluxe does the factory's put it if requested. I'm going to call my dealer tomorrow and have it added. Looks like there is a 5000, 7000, 7500 and so on. I want to be able to tell him what I want..

I have the 7000K. It has a white cover and a remote. I've found the remote to be useful as some of the functions are only available using the remote.

I would imagine they they would install whatever you want.

Heard back from dealer and they informed me that Little Guy no longer offers upgrades like this. They said they could do it for $550.00

Hmmm. I'm surprised to hear that.

You might have better luck contacting LG or Pleasant Valley directly about your Tab order.

Funny as my dealer told me the same thing today. Said it was due to lack of interest that they stopped.
