So no one can tell me about battery shutoff switch instalation 200 plus miles from my dealer so any help would be appreciated. Factory installed one on my friends is mounted on trailer inside battery and propane tank housing. But it has two wires one going to battery and one routed into trailer.

I do not think there is a video here on the forum. There are videos via Google/YouTube.Sharon / 2017 T@B CSS / 2015 Toyota Sienna Minivan / Westlake, Ohio

Yes, the switch would have a wire in and one out, one to battery, other to the T@B. On, it allows juice to the T@B. Off, it cuts the power. YouTube probably has a bunch of vids.
Don't know of any videos here on the forum but there's been a lot off discussions and pics. Here's one... http://tab-rv.vanillaforums.com/discussion/1386/shopping-list#latest
Since your friend has one, couldn't you follow that and do the same? -
I do not know what kind of switch you have , but you mentioned you were mounting it in the tub near the battery. Here is a picture of the one I mounted (the brass bar with the knob) to the negative post of my battery. Like you I'm not very knowledgeable about wiring so this a very simple installation and only took about 10 minutes to install. If like me you are looking for simple, maybe a different switch would solve your problem.

JustJohn - Different kind of switch - Looks easier to install - Where did you get it?

PXL, I ordered it from Amazon, there are several configurations to mount to the post or screw type terminals. Search: Side Post Battery Master Disconnect Switch, made by GAMA. About $12.00.2016 Outback.....North East N.C...... Former 2012 Silver Shadow

I followed others' suggestion(s) on a cut-off switch, and also installed it in a similar fashion, using nylon zip-ties. Since I have to look down on it, I added "ON" and "OFF" labels to make it easier to see.
