  Thanks for the link! We have the movie on DVD in the T@B. But as usually happens, the book is MUCH better! I started it last evening and finished it this morning. Hilarious! Laugh-out-loud in places.

  I lived that movie. Our family moved from Ohio to Calif. in 1954. We had a 35' trailer not a mobile home and not an RV. It was very heavy by today's standards. We towed it with a 1952 Cadillac that had 180 hp. Route 66 all the way it took 2 weeks I was 9 years old one of the great memories of my life.
