How high is the tongue jack when the trailer is level. I need to pull it in under a shelf and will raise the shelf if I need to.

Do you mean pull it with your TV while trailer is level and jack handle is down?
Or pull the handles on the T@B to maneuver it into storage with jack handle down? (trailer doesn't need to be level)
Do you need to be able to crank the jack handle while under the shelf?

Tabberjohn, I just want to know the height of the top of the tongue jack when I go to store it. I want it level so I can run the appliances as if I was at a camp. Don't need to crank after it's in place.

I think what he is asking is the same thing I would like to know. If the trailer is sitting level, how high would it be from the ground to the top of the hitch. I'm thinking somewhere between 18-24"?

On my std T@B it's 29.25" (crank hanging diwn) a Would be more on an Outback with the higher suspension.

Is that 29.25" to the top of the "jack" or to the top of the "hitch?"

Outback is level, driveway drops 3/8 inch at jack wheel. Ground to top of jack is 35 inches in daylight, 36 inches in the dark!

I think I understand what you are asking, but the exact height of the crank (or the hitch) is difficult to measure accurately unless the T@B is parked on a perfectly level surface. Mine rarely is, but maybe somebody who parks in a garage can help you out.
