Is nothing  sacred. Now you don't even have to learn how to backup.

  • Next thing you know, the  cars will drive themselves.
Then we won't have to learn to drive either...

I think you still need to learn. The camera is just going to show you just how bad you can jackknife the little bugger and how quickly. Now, self-driving cars could probably be trained to do it. :-)
  • The system above is much more than a Camera... it is a  "Hands Off " Trailer Backup Assist...
    Any experience with it ?

Wow. That's a perfect use for 'self driving cars'.

One thing not illustrated in the video, though, was backing 'blind'. The Tab, and any other camper, blocks about 75% of the view of where you're going.

The backup camera on the back of the camper would be more useful for us. Or a 'bird's eye view' camera might be nice, showing the full picture of the TV and the Tab together. Maybe all three cameras, and the ability to switch between them.

  • From personal experience, it is a great tool... I use it on my farm for my various utility trailers as well and  while the rear view directly behind the t@b is obstructed...the grid on screen gives you a reference point if you take the time to note landmarks in the screen, essentially informing you of your rear position...it can back a trailer better than me into a barn door with inches to spare...hope you find a system that works for you...hope this info is useful for those that are interested...
  • Another nice video...if interested ....
