I saw the prototype 400 unit down in Elkhart last fall and loved the trailer and it has piqued my interest to a new level.  I know that others share my sentiment here too and would love to see your new trailer, along with the interior, lighting, and what you as a new owner consider its assets, etc.

Please post up photos and show us what you have done to make it your new home away from home!

Please post pictures of the 400 next to (or hitched to) your tow vehicle so we can see relative size!

This is as close as I have.  The 2 front ones are T@G's and the back one is a T@B outback.  Hope this sheds some light on it for you.  Fred

Here is the day we picked our new t@b 400 up. It poured all night outside....and inside. There was a leak in one of the clearance lights that allowed water to drain onto the bed. NüCamp has been phenomenal: they picked it up, fixed the leak, and are letting us use this t@b while they build us a new one!

@sherm2954, nüCamp does not visit this forum. This is an owners/future owners/former owners, etc. forum. All Administrators and Moderators are volunteers.

It's taller, longer and wider than the T@B units.  And keep in mind too that the factory is bustling right now with business and activity and they probably won't send you that type of comparison.  I believe if you look in little bit further here on the forum you will find the actual dimensions that will give you an idea as to how both units different size.

Great comparison pics skwhee!  Can we have a peek inside when you have time?  Interested in pics of the bed, bath, and more.  Hmmm, almost sounds like a good name for a store...

Beautiful!!!  I love the backlit areas and the flo created within the interior.

I'm wondering if you have to pack differently for travel  and what you consider to be the differences between the 320 and the 400 overall? I am sure that the added room is the biggest difference and you probably gave a big sigh of relief  after taking it all in and realizing the step up was well worth it.

Mike, we are loving the extra room, the spaciousness of the bathroom, and having a separate dining area that converts to a guest bed.  The biggest difference in the way we pack is that we don’t have carry boxes of food or extra clothes in the back seat of the truck, it all fits into the 400. We easily carry off season clothes stashed in the area under the bed.

Thanks for the pics skwhee!  Nucamp did a great job with the lighting.  That's one thing I wish our 2016 T@B had more of.

Hvtymwiltravel, Have you left your fridg on to charge while towing with your nissan?  Wonder how it did.  It ran the battery down in our 320 and I understand the Nissan has a system that reduces the output of the alternator when the batt is charged.  Saw our new 400 yesterday at the dealer and he was telling us the fridge is a 2 way (we knew that already) but it has a small compressor instead of the chemical pack like used on the 3 way's,  Said it is basically batt powered and that it cool's well and is thrifty on the battery.  Sadly, ours is headed back to NU Camp to fix some issues.  Hope it is back sometime next week.

  • atlasb,  We ran the refrigerator for 3 weeks continuously  towed and parked and did not experience any problems. In addition to the battery charging load of the camper we use a Tekonsha Prodigy brake controller which uses the same auxiliary circuit for the trailer brakes.
