Used vs New

Hi All!
I've been looking for a T@B for a while and have found two at pretty good prices. A used 2012 U-shape for $13k and a new 2017 U-shape for $18k. Considering there's really not that much of a price difference between the two, I'm wondering what exactly are the big "upgrades" or changes to going with a new and any other suggestions!?
Thanks and I can't wait to get my T@B!

There are numerous changes that may make a difference in your decision. Search on the forum for "Model year" or go to the second page under the "General" category and look for the thread. You will find a discussion re differences between 2016 and 2017. Maybe someone with a 2012 model can chime in.Sharon / 2017 T@B CSS / 2015 Toyota Sienna Minivan / Westlake, Ohio

There are subtle differences between a 2012 and a 2017 and I am guessing that the floor material is different too as the newer models now have the Azdel flooring which eliminates wood and will not rot, soak in moisture, etc. The 2012 would also have the folddown style table and no bed slats, where as the 2017 would have the Lagun table base and a smaller table which I like better. The trailers look similar no doubt but the newer units incorporate some newer and possibly smaller innovations and technologies that others may elaborate more about.Mike - Elmira, Mi / 2019 T@B 400 / 2021 Chevy Silverado LTZ

Thanks for the info. I know there's some differences between the years, I mean it's 5 years up upgrades and learning!
I guess it's probably just worth the extra $5k to get the "latest and greatest" model. -
I went from a 2010 ( sold for 10.5) to a 2016 so my wife could have a $13,000 shower, toilet and ac if she ever needs it.

That's an expensive shower and toilet! I honestly don't want either of those as I don't want the hassle and I feel like they take up too much room in an already small trailer!

So many upgrades. I'd go with new.2015 CS. Ford f150 v8. Southern california

Ugh, who knew that getting a loan for one of these would be such a hassle! And the dealer won't accept a check!

New if you can afford it. That way you benefit from the continuous upgrades in newer year models (NuCamp is great about that), can customize to your likes, and start with only your sweat and germs on the cushions. Then there's the black tank cooties. Just sayin...

Plus the2017 will have larger tanks than the 12. Not to mention 5 years less wear on wheel barrings,, tires, brakes, battery, converter, and fridge. And it will be under warranty.2015 CS. Ford f150 v8. Southern california

I am! They have been pretty good. My biggest complaint is that they are HORRIBLE at getting back to you.Tabster said:Los Angeles? Are u going to american RV in azusa? I got mine there. Good people
