water pressure flutter

When using water pump I have considerable pressure flutter on cold water.  Not so much with hot.  Haven't had this on any other RV's.  Normal, or do I add this to my warranty list?

    Mine does the same thing when you first turn it on. I turn the pressure down a little using the sink valve & it seems to calm down. I'm thinking it's related to air in the lines from the way it acts.

    Mine does this, though it's more a pressure variation than an actual sputtering. I suspect the long run to the Alde combined with the Alde's 2-3 gallon reservoir helps to smooth out the effect in the hot water supply. I've always considered it normal. 

    Air trapped in the lines will make the condition more notable, even to the point of sputtering.

    Mine's always been the same. Fluttering when using the water pump. I've been contemplating changing the size of the pipe entering the faucet to see if that makes any difference.

    Several years ago I added an accumulator to the water line out of the water pump.  It eliminates the pulsing or sputtering flow and even reduces how much the pump runs at low flow.
    The entire water system in our DM CS is very low volume with only about two feet of tubing total so the pulsations were quite evident before the added accumulator.  It is a nice refinement that goes unnoticed until you experience another system without it.

    Regardless, a sink with pulsing water pressure still beats the heck out of a plastic jug perched on the edge of your picnic table!  ;-)

    @ScottG, 'Ya mean the one that falls off when you're not lookin', and punches a hole in it??? It usually falls right on the corner of the bench punching a nice un-repairable hole in it to boot! (don't ask me how I know about these things!) =)

    Virtually 100% of my CS water plumbing is visible in these photos. 
    You can see there was a very convenient place to add the accumulator in the loop of hose on the pumps output.  Adding it did not even effect storage space under the sink.  It was more a because I could project than a need. 
    It does help conserve water because it is easy to set a very low flow when washing.  The pump cycles briefly to recharge the accumulator then is silent while you use the stored water pressure.  Maybe even saves some 12v power!?
