Cutting hole in T@B wall to install city water hookup

I'm wondering the best way to cut a hole in the (aluminium/board/insulation) side wall of a 2004 T@B to install city water hook-up. Also, any recommendations for the water fitting? I will put a "T" in the water line on the tap side of the water line. I appreciate any input.

Chris, I went about it differently in our 2007. I added a 10 gallon tank underneath. In front of the tongue box, I added a wooden box where the gravity and city water fill is located. From there, the water lines go to a bypass valve prior to entering the t@b. The valve is in my tongue box. From there it enters the tab underneath through the floor. It is a bit more involved than described here as I have added a water pump and heater.

Thanks for the input John. I'm not considering a HW heater at this time and already have a 5 Gal. tank used with the pump, which is adequate for our needs. Any thoughts on best way to cut a hole in the side? Think a standard hole saw would work?

Yes a standard hole saw should work. The finer teeth the better

I would consider using some painters tape across the area you plan to cut and as JCFaber noted, use a hole saw bit with fine teeth. Hopefully there are no hidden frame components in the cut area.Mike - Elmira, Mi / 2019 T@B 400 / 2021 Chevy Silverado LTZ
