HOW to replace kitchen faucet?

I want to replace the kitchen faucet in our 2016 T@B S. It isn't tall enough to get larger pots or our filter dispenser under, and I've noticed that the black seal between the faucet base and the counter is broken so I'm concerned about water leaking into the cabinet.

If you've replaced your faucet, how do I go about it? Are there any special tools or techniques? Will a standard bar faucet work?

VERY easy to do.  There are two holes at 4" on center.  This is a standard bar faucet size.  Turn off your pump and not be connected to city water before starting.  Reach under the sink and unscrew the two water lines from the old faucet (mine were hand-tight, so came off very easily).  Then unscrew the two plastic wing nuts holding the faucet to the underside of the cabinet.  That's it.  Make sure the new faucet spout fits with the front window shade closed.

You want one that has a curved spout to clear the window. A marine unit from Walmart is what I used.

Does anyone know if the CS T@B uses the same faucet? I have thought about making a change as it is hard to wash any large pots in the sink.

My 2016 has the older style 2 hole. There are many single hole kitchen faucets on the market. Measure the raw opening in the countertop and try to find one that fits. Unfortunately, the single hole models may require a larger diameter opening in the countertop. Another option is a single hole bathroom faucet with a taller spout. That's what I did. I used the second hole for a soap dispenser. Good luck!

Always wondered why campers don't have standard household fixtures. The original faucet on my T@B leaked constantly and was a nuisance. Since my T@B does not have hot water, I used a single control bar sink faucet. LOVE IT!

I used the same one that @RollingBnB turned me on to (and love it by the way) on our 2017. But the hoses weren't long enough and I had to get extensions. I would have rather put new pex pipe in, so I could just use the hoses supplied with the facet, but it would require buying specialty tools and parts. It was just easier to extend it.

Are there any faucets that have a pull out spray?

I am partial to Moen faucets and like the look of this one. It has a pull down spray. I have not measured it out yet, though.

@Photomom measure the height where the faucet will sit to make sure it will clear the window.

I bought a brushed nickel Moen bathroom faucet (it was on sale) with a 4" spread for my 2015 T@Bitha. It originally had the dual handles and the faucet that wasn't positioned correctly and sprayed water everywhere except in the sink.

The bathroom faucet I bought was perfect (height and bend). One thing I ran into was the holes weren't perfectly 4" apart. I needed 2mm more room on each side for a perfect fit. It wasn't hard to do with a scraper or good file (tape the counter with painter's tape!!). Empty the cabinet underneath. Easier to clean the filings! Still only a 30 min job, even with the filing. Worth it!!
