Adding more solar to T@B Max S...advice?

We have a T@B Max S, are now using dual 6v golf cart batteries and have a 100w suitcase Renogy solar panel that we connect using the Zamp plug. We are looking to add and mount flexible panels on the roof. Probably two 100w panels. The Renogy suitcase panel has its own controller. The questions that we have are;
1. would it be preferable to have the suitcase panel and the new flexible panels all run through the same controller?
2. is there any reason we couldn't leave the Renogy on one controller and the new flexible panels on a different controller?
3. if we used a single controller what size would we need (in amps)?
Our hope is that the flexible panels will supply the necessary power and the suitcase will only be necessary as a backup. The single suitcase doesn't really do the job for us as we normally are away from the campsite during the day and don't like to leave it unattended (theft concerns).

I drilled holes in the aluminum on the side of my 120-watt suitcase solar panel. I have two cables, one 15 feet long, the other 30 feet, that I use to lock the solar panel to the Tab. I can use either cable depending on how far the panel needs to be from the trailer.

Thanks all.

Yes I did. Very helpful! I've ordered two 100w flexible solar panels that I plan to mount with 3M double back trim tape. Current problem solving is routing the wires from the panels to the controller which will be housed in the tub. I would like to run the wiring under the plastic trim but not sure how that is attached. I'm hesitant about drilling holes in the roof.

@dsatwork, clearly you have done this and it works, but I'm wondering why two controllers don't "confuse" each other. If each controller is reading the other's output, might they think the battery is more charged than it is and step back their own output?dsatwork said:...

I've found solar to be a dish best consumed slowly, and I readily admit I am not very knowledgeable about the electronic intricacies of the controllers. Any insights?2015 T@B Max S (320)

My main controller can since incoming power and will only kick on when needed. Essentially the same as power coming in from the 7pin connector.2017 Tab Basic S Silver on Silver with Sofitel Cushions....upgraded from 2013 LG 5W....Towed by a 2016 Sorento V6 AWD w/5000lb tow capacity. @dlud The plastic trim is held on by the tiny screws that also attach the kedder rail. There is some room under the plastic trim for the wiring.Geo & Liz
