If standard Command strips are not working try these.

Clean surface with an alcohol wipe before use. I have yet to have these become unstuck even in hi heat
conditions. They can be removed with slow and I mean slow steady pull starting at one end. They can also be found at Home Depot.

@Dalehelman, thanks. Nice to know there is an alternative. However we have not had the command strips ever fail, from the desert southwest in July/August, to frozen Michigan, and have not seen these before.

I have had pretty much the same experience as you.  Recently I have seen some comments that were negative. Just another option to avoid drilling holes.

@Dalehelman I'm way ahead of you (imagine that!), bought this last August!  I've also used heavy duty velcro with great success. I've found the command strips rather useless for the most part.

I may try something else. These command strips I've used to hold up the back of the wire shelving in my back cabinets worked well for a few years - but when my trailer is in storage (in Tucson), even with a cover on, it's so hot inside they've fallen down. An Ace Hardware employee suggested some JB Weld but I haven't gone that far yet. Love my shelf but may take it out eventually and do the side bench chest of drawer mod I've seen.

If you’re going to give up on Command and use something with permanent adhesive I’d recommend Dual Lock.

these are both the same product. Not exactly permanent but difficult to remove.

I think that the stuff sold as Dual Lock is more robust than the stuff sold under the Scotch brand. It would be interesting to see them side by side.
