Bedding for T@B's

I am a new owner of a 2006 DM U-shape model and I'm trying to decide how to set up the bed. Thanks for all the info! I won't be using the big heavy original table that came with the T@b. We'll be sleeping twin style or if I'm solo I may try sleeping wheel to wheel. The thermarest pad I have is too long to use wheel to wheel. Has anyone tried using it that way with the excess folded up against the wall, or does folding it with air in it put too much pressure on the seams? thanks,
