I just replaced the crank with if I remember a 1/2” bolt. Just pop off the top cover for access. I think it was a 6” bolt. I cut off the thread. Then I drilled a small hole in it to match the crank handle. If you are not good with tools. Ask a friend or neighbor. Good luck

  Up date on the leak. It was not the plastic "T" O ring that is dripping. It's the threads on the brass fitting that screws into the Alde tank. Very strange the threads are not tapered …

  If there are crimp marks left on the PEX. You should make your cut just behind them. Shark bites use an O ring to seal so they need a clean smooth surface to slide over.
