Hello! My [email protected] is a 2007, so there was no hinge cover at all.
I purchased a 6" wide by 12' long piece of EPDM rubber off of ebay. Then I took it to my dealer. They used standard RV trim and secured the piece of rubber over the entire hinge above and below the existing hinge mounts with the RV trim. then put trim insert rubber in the trim groove. Then didn't pull anything off and didn't mess with the existing mounting of the hinge. Just placed the rubber across the entire thing.
