I did the same mod without the center bolt. I was concerned I was pushing the j-bolt too far into the screen behind the vent. I ended cutting a little bit off of the curved end of the j-bolts. (View Post)

In our CS-S, in place of the front storage lid. The lid is placed on top of the back lid. I used some 1/2 in plywood and small section of doorstop to keep it from dropping inside the cabinet.  (View Post)
