Can AcuRite Thermometer Run on Batteries Only?
I just bought an AcuRite 06036 Thermometer system with three remote sensors. The manual says the 110V power adapter “is required as the primary power source to enjoy the full functionality of this product;” the batteries are meant as a data backup.
I’ve sent an email to AcuRite, but I’m wondering if anyone uses this system on battery only and if so, what functions are compromised.

Most do throw it away. FWIW, we have cut short sections (measure as needed) and reinsert in the lower Keder to keep the guy lines of our visor from shifting. Works well. (View Post)
I looked at the Verizon site and the best prepaid plan for the JetPack was $45 for 8GB plus a bonus of 7GB (so 15 total). So maybe the unlimited plan is gone. The store personnel are not always up to… (View Post)
