The two way fridge uses (depending on what thread you read here) about 3.6 amps on 12v. With a big battery and reasonable sun for solar, it would be do-able.2 -

@ELK your alligator clips will go straight to the battery. The Zamp port isn't needed with the alligator clip method. There is no need to do anything with your battery fuse.1
