@TomlnPlymouth; Disclaimer: No direct NüCamp data, comments based on various 'factory tour' videos of several different RV trailer manufacturing companies. Believe most RV manufacturers use a product Quality Sample Inspection method. One of every N units built is given an in-depth inspection including operating all…
The Barefoot exterior was on display on the factory floor, and all tours were from the mezzanine. This Prototype 1, still not perfect per nüCamp. No interior photos or price or when it will be ready for sale. I do believe there are many more ahead of you to buy.
I am going to try and take the NuCamp factory tour next week so that I can photograph the inside of area covered by walls, for future reference. Good job here DougH, you increased your potential cooling by 15%!
The reason it's a bad idea is there is an aluminum frame that supports anything structural in the walls and ceiling (i.e. the ceiling fan opening, entry door and each window - not to mention the A/C unit). Somewhere on this forum are some photos taken during a factory tour that showed the aluminum framework.
Beginning with the 2017 models, there is a composite material that replaces all of the plywood in the floor. Here is a photo of the new flooring. The Azdel composite seems to be covered with a fabric. It is hard enough that my thumbnail doesn't make a dent in it. I got my sample from the factory tour last summer.
Just bought our T@B S max last week. We live about 90 minutes from the factory in Sugar Creek, OH. But we had to drive to Virginia to get the price we wanted. The dealership wasn't very up to date on how to properly prep a T@B so we had some issues. Called the factory...Edward Kaufman took real good care of us! They stand…
My wife and I are recent tab owners. We bought our trailer new but it had a few minor problems. We live about 3 hours away from the Pleasant Valley factory and decided to make the trip there for repairs. Oh my goodness! I have never seen such good customer service. Austin took care of every issue we had no questions asked.…
Yesterday was a happy day in our household as we brought home our new T@B S Max. Last fall I took our 2014 T@B to the factory in Sugarcreek for a major warranty repair which the factory readily agreed to do. After seeing the nice upgrades to the 2015 model, we worked out a "trade" with Ed Kauffman and couldn't be happier.…
Haven't decided on mounting location on our 320S. If it's close to the back there would be access to the water valves, but it would block the window and more importantly the Alde exhaust. Towards the front over the baths porthole window is probably the best place. Open to opinions. Can someone point me to or post pictures…
Per the factory tour, I took in June, getting a floor blank from nuCamp may be difficult or a long wait. They are currently out of the previous Dutchmen floor blanks they had created. They have switched the way the nuCamp floors are made and are working on R&D to make the Dutchmen floor blanks from the new materials.
