Sam, on the photo camp site post I see you have a tab tent room is that the one that was on sale.. they said it would not fit clamshell mod. ? did u get from teardrop shop or direct from Pahaque?... Manny
Welcome! We have the same T@B, purchased June 2017. We camp with two 50-lb. Airedale Terriers, so invested in the PahaQue side tent and this year got the PahaQue XL visor. The tent is a bit of work to set up (not difficult, just a bit of time) and you have to have the width on your camp site for it as it doubles the width…
@ericnliz . Haha! RLH is 6'6", so this has been an exercise in "height management". We're eagerly waiting for the arrival of the Pahaque tent just so he can pull on shirts and pants without giving himself back-strain. :-) Case in point...
The tent's cord that feeds into the rail is too long... by several inches. The picture shows the extra. The end of the cord is fed as far as it goes on the other side. At first, I was hoping that it would shrink, but that isn't happening. Pahaque agrees and is taking it back to repair it....
After setting up the side tent -- which is super easy with two people -- I was surprised at the two big holes that were near the handles on either end. I was sure that people praised the tent for keeping the bugs out so I thought that perhaps we had set it up wrong. I called the Pahaque folks -- who were really nice -- and…
@maddmike many folks with big pups use the Pahaque side tent as a second room for overflow, including stuff and pets. It would actually give you more usable space than a 400 as your daughter grows. I know that @Dalehelman has one for sale right now, and it would be cheaper than a new 400. Just an option. If his is sold,…
Need a little bit of a history lesson. I have a side tent for a Dutchman 2009 t@b (U shape no bathroom). The tent pictured attaches via keder rail. It came with the t@b when purchased and I was the third owner of the t@b. I believe original purchase by owner #1. This tent is in fabulous shape. I have really enjoyed the…
That's a very clever solution! I'm going to try it. My tent is pre-aluminum roof support pole. I think your solution will eliminate the need for adding that east-west pole. And I agree, Pahaque isn't exactly open to design suggestions (:
Didn't try it at home but waited until we arrived at the campground to set it up. Found the pole without the connecting string but with some extra effort got it up. It was more work than I expected, but the finished product is nice. More than doubles thespace in the T@b. One issue is that you can't use the slide out step…
Good morning! I just picked up my 2015 T@B 320 last week and realized last night why the PahaQue awning and tent room have never been used. The pics will show why and I'm wondering, can I snip some of the rail so I can thread either the awning or tent room onto it? I can't get more than 1/8" into it now. Is there another…
