I just put these on my overhead cabinet doors above the sink. Has anyone attempted to put them on the other cabinet doors? RV Designer H279, Door Support Strut, Plastic and Metal, Spring-Loaded 6-1/4 inch, 2 Per Pack, Cabinet Hardware
I searched Cabinet Door Struts: https://tab-rv.vanillacommunity.com/search?adv=&search=Cabinet+door+struts&title=&author=&cat=all&subcats=1&tags=&discussion_discussion=1&comment_comment=1&discussion_poll=1&within=1+day&date=
These struts are great. Has anyone put them on any of the other cabinet doors? I tried on a door in the back but it was putting too much leverage on the hinge. I think it will need two of these struts - doesn't seem worth it. Thoughts? Comments? Thanks!
Hello, I'm trying to figure out a way to keep my kitchen cabinet doors open briefly. These are the ones above my interior sink. I thought of attaching a strong magnet to the ceiling and finding a metal door knob so they would connect. Another option is to install tiny struts. Thoughts?
@ColoradoJon, I saw the new rear cabinet doors on 2 new Outback S models with the struts when we were at Lincoln Rock. One had the same trouble you had with the struts. I know the 'snap' hinges you're referring to from a different post here, and seems like a really good solution. Nice re-purpose for the struts on the rear…
When I replaced the struts on all of my cabinet doors with spring loaded hinges I installed the leftover struts on the rear shelf, one on each side. They do a great job of keeping the shelf door open and closed. I can take a couple of pics if you like.
You know, I hate to be the person that thinks this but... The replacement after-market hinges are so perfect and so inexpensive, I had to wonder why nuCamp doesn't use them. The cabinets open easily, and no more creeeeeakk/squeak noise from the struts. After replacing the hinge/broken strut assembly last night I think I…
IMHO the Amerock Part # BP2811J2314 hinge, a straight in replacement for the existing hinges posted by @KBaggins1 is a much cleaner "prop" to keep the cabinet doors up vs. the struts in the 2018. Plus the door is open more than 90 degrees vs the struts that don't seem to open the door all the way, maybe 75 degrees. I only…
The hinges on the cabinets over the stove kept coming out on mine. Had it repaired under warranty and they replaced the doors with the new models with the little struts...glad to have them...now the doors don't fling open.
