I'm getting our 2009 T@B CS ready for winter storage and thought about all the things we do well beyond plumbing concerns.
We have had this trailer since nearly new and have stored it in western NY winters covered and under a roof with power available.
The plumbing is extremely simple and a few minutes with some pink antifreeze and that's all set.
The things still to be done;
*Remove all bedding, towels, mattress topper and cushions.
*Remove all food stuff from the kitchen (spices,seasonings, oils, sauces....)
All the removed items are stored in some spare spaces in our empty nest.
*Open all cabinet doors and pass thru doors to the CS kitchen. Leave side bench tops open.
*Vacuum and clean everything inside and out
*Wash the exterior before covering
Once covered in place in its parking spot I slip a flat extension cord through the bottom of a window to power a battery maintainer and a small electric space heater set at 50 degrees. I also put a bucket of DampRid in the galley. From what we can tell, we have managed to avoid any mold or mildew issues or odors for nearly 10 years.
