Heat with L.P. question.

Good morning. I will want to heat up the tab at a parking lot when en-route to the south, and warmer climate. Just to be clear, i will need power from the battery and L.P. gas tank open and setting on L.P., on the alde control, correct?
I would guess that the alde would not work properly with out power from the battery. Thanks.

You are correct. The Alde "brains" require 12V power, either from the battery or the converter (if you are connected to shore power).

    Correct.

You have a choice of fuel sources for the Alde, either 120VAC (for the electric heating elements) or propane (for the gas burner).

In either case, however, the Alde always needs 12VDC either directly from the battery (when boon docking) or via the converter (when plugged in to shore power) to run the control panel, circulation pump, and the fan that provides combustion air when using propane.
