FYI - - if you own a Honda 2200i generator and/or companion model, a recall was just issued by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC):

Yes, heard about the first recall to replace the fuel cutoff valve on certain ser.no. Units.  Now we have a new recall?

This is a new recall having to do with the electrical system. It's a issue if you live near salt water.

Called my dealer. They happen to order parts yesterday. I was the 1st to call on this recall.

Mine is in the recall too, guess I will see about getting fixed after I come out of hiding.

I just checked my serial number and ours will be going in for the recall.  This is the second recall on our generator.  It's a good thing the darn unit works so well because it sure has to go to the shop a lot!
