2021 Tab 320s - Does the refrigerator run on 110v and 12v?

We brought our 2021 tab 320s home from the dealer yesterday and it has not been pleasant. During our orientation, the tech said there was an extra cord for the refrigerator if we every wanted to change it from a 12v to a 110v. We couldn't connect both and had to choose one. We had already been at the dealer for over 6 hours in 90 degree heat so we didn't push it like we should have. But does that make sense to people? It seems like if the trailer is connected to shore power, the refrigerator should be using 110v, and if we are not connected to shore power the refrigerator should automatically change to 12 v. There is no switch to choose 110v vs 12v, and we were told it is a 2-way refrigerator, not a 3-way. Thanks.

The frig is wired for 12 v and the converter steps down 120 v to 12 v to allow it to run.  It is automatic.

So the cord that we were given that can go from the back of the refrigerator to a 110 outlet really is extra? Thanks. I feel better.

Yes, it is wired like all the other appliances in the TaB.
