I wish it would end a bit sooner - as it stands now, my reservation for mid-Aug has been arbitrarily cancelled. I say that because of that email I got from Recreation.gov that was worded such, it made it sound like they'd be closed from July-Oct! After much digging and a few phone calls, it turns out they just "pulled site numbers out of a hat" and told those people they could not come. A bit upsetting but I also understand why they're trying to limit capacity. Unprecedented times. They said I MIGHT be able to still come if they open up those sites. As it is, I may bag my entire 3 month trip anyway. Was looking forward to getting out of the desert heat.
