My T@B 320S has the Danby AC unit. It seems to do an acceptable job in the evenings, but the Texas heat overwhelms it during the day. Part of the problem is the the cool air is directed upward towards the ceiling. DougH has also struggled with the same issue. In his post he describes what all he went through to replace the unit with a similar size Fridgidare with unsatisfactory results. So I opted to try to fix the Danby. First I added the exhaust diverters that
Dalehelman described. That mod helped a lot. then I fiddled with a variety of methods to redirect the cool air to no avail. So I went Rambo on the thing. I ordered a pair of adjustable louvers from
https://ultimatecartparts.com/Louver-Assy-Breezeasy_p_23618.html. After I removed the front cover i chopped out the existing louvers and jury rigged the new louvers into place. The nifty little vent on the left is a section out of a fly swatter. Now I can aim the airflow downward and it really seems to help cool the cabin.
