@CarJess, very nice looking trailer. The previous owner obviously kept it in mint condition.
As far as tips, there are far too many than we all can easily provide to you. This forum is chock full of great ideas, suggestions, problem resolutions and modifications. If this is your first RV, there will be a steep learning curve. My best recommendation is that you read the posts on this forum that look like they may be of interest to you. The best way to find answers is to peruse the categories for specific topics (left side of the forum pages) AND make good use of the "Search" box at the top of each page. Many questions are repeatedly asked, and answered, so doing a good search using relevant words/search terms will lead you to answers to most of your questions. Enjoy!
Look at the date code on the tires and make sure they are less than 5 years old, grease the zerk fittings under the hitch to lubricate the brake mechanism, spin the wheels if possible and see if there is any "roughness", and if there is, have the bearings replaced. Also, never, ever, ever, ever drive with the brake handle up. Use a bungie cord or some other strap to hold up the jockey wheel during travel. Never, ever, ever, ever drive unless the windows are locked, and the fan cover is closed.
