Curious re fridge fan

2018 320S. 
We dont have a control button for the fridge fans. They work well but the counter gets quite hot at times. We have learnt to keep the door closed so we dont block the vents !
Anyone else have similar observations?

I’m not certain there is an auxiliary fridge fan on the 2018. The 2019 & 2020 don’t have one, and have the same fridge. A few owners have installed their own.

The 2017 models added a fan and switch.  The 2018 models included a side vent and automatic fan.

Are you sure the fan is running?  Maybe need to replace it or upsize it?
