Tab400 - 2021 Boondock front storage on a 2018

I’m really surprised I couldn’t find an answer, but does anyone know if the 2021 storage compartment with wings would work on older models like the 2018? I know the axle was moved on the 2020+ so I’m not sure if the dimensions up front changed too?

I’ve been jealous of these storage options since I first saw the 320s with them...

I have a 2018 400 which I replaced the plastic tub with the 2021 Aluminum tub which fit like a glove.  I did not chose to to add the wings.  I do not believe there is any change to the to dimensions up front with the 2021.  I did get the Tub from NuCamp and installed it myself.

Yes and Yes, the front frame is the same and one was mounted on a 2020 TaB400, and I am having the new 2021 Inch box, I ordered from nüCamp and shipped to the dealer with their normal shipment (Saved shipping cost).  It is being mounted on our TaB this week, now that the new floor has been installed.

The cost for the front box was around $650, and the rack is around $600.  That said, the 2018/19 model 400’s do not support the tongue rack (per nüCamp), adds too much additional weight to the tongue if you put any weight on it.  The 2021 year model moved the axle forward a few inches to allow the added weight on the front.
