Stenciled around the City Water Inlet on my 2021 TAB 400 it says "Do not Depress Check Valve with pressure in lines". What check valve are they referring to?
Probably a check valve built into the inlet itself. These are typical so as to allow the water to flow in only one direction.
My guess is that if you stuck something in the port and pushed you would probably open the check valve a bit. If there is pressure in the system, you may may get an unplanned shower (and it may not be good for the valve, either).
Just to add to this discussion, during delivery, the tech pulled the screen on the inlet and showed me how to press in on the check valve. He suggested doing that until pink stuff ran out to prevent it from freezing there. He didn't tell me not to do it with pressure in the lines and I ruined mine. When its bad, your water will run out of it when you turn the pump on. I had to replace the assembly.
