Paint / Vinyl Wrap exterior trim ideas

The yellow trim is perfect....for some people..... I saw someone post that they had painted the colored exterior trim, and I'm curious who else has done this. What type of paint did you use? How did you prep it? How is it holding up? Would vinyl wrap perhaps be a better option? (I'm getting SUPER superficial here and trying to match the trim to the wrap I'm going to put on the new car). Any ideas, suggestions, thoughts and photos would certainly be appreciated!
