Can you use a general automotive wax to apply to exterior of the camper?

Yes.... I would use a product like Meguiar’s or a good polymer wax. Stay off the graphics if you are applying it by hand. I use the liquid wash & wax product and it does a nice job.Mike - Elmira, Mi / 2019 T@B 400 / 2021 Chevy Silverado LTZ

I use a 3M polymer RV/Marine wax designed to use on finer glass surfaces. It works very well.

I use F11 on my cars and Tab400. Very easy to apply and polish. It also does well on the acrylic windows and all rubber seals.

How about another discussion about ceramic coatings??

Just about any high quality automotive wax will do the job. Some are easier to apply than others. Some cost as much as liquid gold. Some are cheap as dirt. You will know if you picked the right product in about a year.
