I am winterizing my 2016 TAB 320 S for the first time. I have drained the hot water tank and all the water lines and added antifreeze. I still want to use the camper and thus want to heat the camper with shore power and propane. Is there any danger of burning out the ALDE when there is no water in the hot water tank? Is there something I have to be careful about? I don't find a way to tell the hot water button on the ALDE thermostat to be OFF. It only shows 1 or 2.

Do you have the analog or digital Alde control panel? If it is analog, if you want to have electric and propane at the same time to heat the cabin without heating water, set the levers to: D, F, I. Although the “I” indicates a water setting, you use that mode when the Alde water tank is empty. The 1-5 numbers correspond to the thermostat temperature setting only.
I have the digital Alde panel.
I did close the cold and hot water valves to the Alde boiler and opened the bypass before pumping antifreeze into the water system. So, I think I'm good. I'm glad to know this, and look forward to being warm next time I'm out.
One reason I wrote was because when I turned on the digital Alde display I sometimes hear something start in the Alde. Is there a circulation pump I need to understand?
BTW - on the 3010 Alde digital display, the 1 or 2 is to control the number of electric heating elements in play. The basic hot water temperature is a default setting that you can increase for a boost of “Extra Hot Water”.
