Ball Receiver Advice - Drop Amount for 2020 Outback XT Pulling 2015 T@B CS-S

I'm going to be picking up a 2015 T@B CS-S from a private seller that is 10+ hours away. I was hoping someone who has a similar setup could share how much of a drop they needed on their ball mount for towing with a Subaru Outback XT (no aftermarket mods). My measurements are: The height (from the ground) to the bottom of the trailer coupler is 13.5". The height to the top inside wall of the receiver tube (from the ground) is 17.5". If I'm doing the math correctly, that would mean I need a 4" drop on my receiver, but that seems like a lot for an SUV?

I would appreciate anyone's help in getting the correct ball receiver if you have a similar setup.

A 4" Drop ended up being correct for towing level with this setup.

@ClaudeA Thanks for asking. It was pretty good! We towed from Tennessee to Iowa. The outback ate right through the foothills in Tennessee and the turbo rarely kicked in. Almost all of the way through Illinois and Iowa was heavy snow and headwinds. I had a trailer brake controller and 12 pin connector wired up before we left, and it was worth it (Redarc TowPro Liberty). Used X-Mode to get in our driveway with 8"+ of snow with no problem. I ended up ordering a hitch clamp for our next trip, the Curt ball receiver was a little too wobbly for me.
