Alde Heating

Newbie questions.
We have our new TAB400 in the drive and are testing out things.Is it okay to run the Alde to heat the TAB if you have no water in the system? I don’t want to damage anything in the hot water system. Thanks.

    You can heat the cabin without water in the Alde tank, but please confirm that there is no antifreeze in the Alde tank before turning it on.

    Yep you are good to go without water in the system.  But as Sharon said, make sure the dealer did not put antifreeze in the alde before you turn the system on.  Just open the low point drains for the alde and see if anything comes out.  The drains under the bed by the alde with yellow levers, not the ones in the nautilus box.

    Thank you both. That gave us an opportunity to discover what was under our bed as well as check that the dealer had drained the antifreeze. All was good and we confirmed we have Alde heat!
