Boondock front deck weight?

Hi all!
I am contemplating removing the front checkerplate deck as I see no really need for it and why not lower the tongue weight!
Anyone know off hand the weight of the deck?

It’s very lightweight—it’s aluminum.

Careful on lowering the weight too much or you could induce sway in the trailer. I doubt removing just the platform would do it but be warned. I'd worry if you switched to a lightweight Lithium and an empty Propane tank.

I would leave it there until you've had a chance to use the trailer for awhile. They are very useful and I wish that I had one.

I think those front decks are useless. If you want to ship yours to me I'll dispose of it for you.  ;-)
