. I never use the Norcold frig. 1. Too small to make a difference. Use two Yeti’s in the TV. 2. No propane option. 3. Makes too much noise at night when trying to sleep. Compressor cycles on about every 5 minutes for about a minute.
So I am thinking about taking it out and using the space for more storage. Wondering if anyone has done this and how you may have modified the space for storage.

I think that it comes out fairly easily, but removing and remodeling it would probably lower your resale value. The compressor noise also bugged me at night so I've started turning it off when I go to bed. I leave a gel ice pack in the freezer that freezes solid during the day, and I get the fridge good and cold before I shut it off. I use this bluetooth thermometer to keep track of the temp. So far, so good. Not sure that I'd do it if it was really hot (85+) at night, though.San Francisco Bay Area

Perhaps you could make a removable cabinet insert to fit the space vacated by the fridge. I did something similar with my air conditioner--the cabinet and the A/C can be swapped out with minimal fuss if needed. An insert might not provide quite as much storage space, but would allow reversion to the original configuration for resale purposes (if that is a concern).2015 T@B Max S (320)

Took mine out years ago for all of those reasons. I still have it and have considered wiring it with a cigarette plug for 12v in the car. But my RTIC cooler is so much easier and better!2016 T@B Maxx CS-S following a 2008 4Runner Ltd

Have a 2015 CSS bought used. Discovered Norcold would not cool. Norcold said replace ($800). Removed Norcold and now use the space for microwave oven and toaster oven. Most campgrounds I frequent have shore power, so no problem. Use a Target mini fridge ($80) mounted on my front bench seat when I'm on shore power and Igloo 12V when I boondock. Maybe I've decreased the resale value but I didn't buy my T@B planning on the resale value.

We removed the fridge. We haven't finalized all the storage in the area yet but it's a start
