Ceiling Fan, Lift knob fell out

Knob in perfect condition.  It will not stay in fan unit when put back in, phillips screw was loose. How to reattach?

2020 320s. 28 nights use overall. A 1400 or 1450 fan.

Fixed it. Factory Should Have used lok tight on the connection threads!!!!!!

I'd contact your dealer or dometic for a possible warranty issue. If the screws are loosening this soon to where they already need locktite, the plastic screw holes are likely stripped and the fan may need to be replaced.

@rhyno, the screw that holds the knob in place goes into a metal shaft so it is a metal screw to a metal shaft. A drop of blue Loctite would prevent further issues.

I kept hitting my head on the dang knob, ours is permanently removed and velcroed in the side bins. You can still use it to open and close the lid.  One of my first and cheapest mods .

Brad nailed it...in this case..Loktited it.
Nothing to do with the plastic knob per say, the upper metal part unscrewed ( fine threads) I used a small drift and rotated the disloged part using ehe small notchs on each side.
