Trouble with Alde

I would appreciate any help troubleshooting the Alde system.  I am getting two warnings 1.  “Low Voltage” and 2. “Window Open”  Please see the attached photo.  The hot water heater isn’t working.  The fuses are good, I’ve checked the circuit breaker, the LP comes on at the stove.

Page 12 in the Alde manual provides the following:

Low Battery - 12 V supply to boiler has dropped below 10.5 V possibly causing system brownout. Automatically clears when 12 V supply reaches 11 V. (additional info in the manual).

Window Open - Optional window sensor has triggered, gas heating is suspended. Automatically clears and gas heating resumes when window is closed.

    Hope this helps.

Low battery means to check your T@B battery as it appears to be low.

Open window shows that though it is 87* inside, an outdoor thermostat is showing only 32* outside, so it is assuming you have a window open to the outside.

I think I am just going to have to take it in.  Our battery is fully charged and a volt meter shows it is delivering 13.5 volts to the Alde unit.  Being in Texas, in the summer, I know it’s not 32 outside!  We are actually having a fairly cool day though at 82!

I sort of figured you were either in an ice cave or there was a problem!  Honestly, I’ve never seen the open window comment before, but I don’t have an outdoor sensor on my Alde.

Be sure to come back and tell us what they found.

@deshda The voltage reading you gave us indicates you are measuring a battery while the Tab is (or might be) on shore power. Unplug the trailer and turn the battery switch off and take another state of charge reading.  Turning off the 12V power to the trailer may also reset the error messages ( as in what Sharon-is-Sam's note above points out.)

Well, after 3 months, multiple calls/emails to nucamp, alde, and two trips to the dealer, the alde system is finally fixed.  The unit had a bad motherboard that needed replacing and that did the trick!  It is good to have hot water again and heat, as we head into the cooler months in Texas!

@deshda was your camper under warranty? I.e. did you have to pay for the $280 new PCB?

I am getting a gas failure with mine, and am feeling somewhat abandoned by both NuCamp and Truma. No propane heat (electric still works) means no boondocking for me.
