Our sales paperwork when we bought ours new from the dealer states 2018 model, even though we bought it new in August, 2017.  It also has some features that were said to be new for the 2018 model.

@BrianZ I don't remember where I saw it, but someone here gave info on how to find your manufactured year and based on that, mine was a 2017.  I purchased my unit used and my title when I received it said "Pleasant Valley/Little Guy".  That's all I know.

Part Number 50708 is not correct for my stove!!

Fedex delivered my stove grate grommets this morning.  I almost immediately took them over to the T@B to try them out.  They are too big.  They don't go in the hole and are loose on the grid.

Ironically I got an email from Dometic this morning that they do not understand what I want in regard to the sink glass bumpers.

I intend to email them in regard to these issues including a lot of photos and some measurements.

Dometic customer support is pretty awful in my experience. Also tried to get lost sink glass bumpers, and got a big - don't know what those are response, after sending them pictures!
This is their product, brand new in a 2021 400 - how can they have no idea what it is?

@SweetlyHome oh great. . . grrrr   I find it so frustrating when this is their product and they don't have the correct information or tell you something that you know is not correct!  I have order the 4 pack of #SMEV 50805 OEM grommets--the id size says that it is correct for my cooktop.  Once I receive them I will report back.  I'm so sorry you went through all of that and it's still not the correct part #!

Their customer service is abysmal.

@SweetlyHome. I received the SMEV 50805 grommets from Panther RV Products.  They ARE the correct size for my stove!  They are not cheap though, but I can't stand having pots & pans & coffee pot uneven while cooking.  I'm going to order a few extra to keep on hand.  Hope you hear something on the glass bumpers.  One of those on my stove is loose & rattling around.

I sent a long detailed email to Dometic yesterday on the 3 items I need.  We will see what happens.

@SweetlyHome ---I just got an email from Dometic--a different person than who you were working with and a different person than the one who first told me they had no such replacements.  Maybe you could reach out to this person?

She says the part # is 44990001248, although that is different than the grommets part # that I paid for and received already--see my post above.  She said she is going to send me a few for free.  Will see when they get here if they are the right fit.

@lkc001,  There must be a mess of folks in that office.  I worked with Tawnny on the phone to get the wrong part.  Got an email from from a Karl at one point.  I guess sufficient cooks in the kitchen is a good thing to supply timely service but they all need to know the recipe. None have so far.

@BrianZ  See my post above from Sept 18-- part # SMEV 50805 from Panther RV Products.  I  received them Saturday-- they are the correct size for my stove.  I got sick & tired of waiting on the runaround with Dometic.

Our stoves look identical.  However the holes for the grommets and the grate legs are be bigger on yours than mine.

The 50805 fits my stove perfectly.  I now if I only knew for sure the model number of my stove.

I am continuing a long and nit-picky email exchange with Dometic on the glass bumpers on both the stove and sink.

@SweetlyHome. Thank you so much for the generous offer but the 50708 are too big for my stove.  I ordered the 50805 & they are the correct size.  I'm supposed to be getting some shipped to me for free from Dometic-- they said 1-2 weeks.  We'll see if they ship me the correct size.

Amazon shows that part number at $62 for 8...! And the reviews are awful.

They were perfect for this stove.  8 came in the pkg.  They seem to be holding up much better than the original black parts.

@rfuss928 Wow!  I'm glad you got some replacement parts and help from Dometic "customer service" department.  I'm still waiting on the "free replacement" grommets that they were supposed to send me 3 weeks ago.  Several of us have had an abysmal interaction with Dometic.  Even getting correct information out of them is like pulling teeth.

I received the replacement silicone rubber grommets from McMaster-Carr. They fit perfectly. Part number 1061T12 3/16" x 5/16".

They are red. Fine with me.

Our stove is the same layout as @lkc001 illustrates above.

McMaster requires a purchase of 25 grommets, not too expensive though, $7.64 plus shipping.

I have 15 extra that I will mail to someone that needs them, no charge. Whoever would like them (All - FCFS!)

And if that person has spares, they can mail them on to another needy Tab-owner!
