Anyone Have the Specs on the converter in the T@B 400 2022 Model?

After paying $700 to upgrade the converter in my 2019 T@B 400 just this past March, I just sold the T@B! I never even got to use the new converter while boondocking on generator.

Anyway!, I have a 2022 on order and I do see the converter/circuit breaker box is mid trailer now (my original one was at the front) and I know that was one of the reasons we were not getting a quick charge with the converters that were mounted so far from the batteries.

I'm wondering if the converter/breaker being close to the batteries now in 2021/22 models, does this help much, or should I tell my dealer to install another Progressive Dynamics converter before I even pick it up?

Thanks

My 2019 had the factory location under the wardrobe closest, so a very short run to the battery, if that is when the 2022 is now, then I think you will be fine. I believe the 2022 also has a Lithium setting, if so, I think I would see how that works rather than spending money early on.

Yes, the converter is on the opposite side on the 2022 model TaB400, under the center galley cabinet (occupies a former galley locker spot), so still a close run the the batteries under the center bunk area.

@TabbyShack  - this is from @dbremmer who has a 2022 400.  “I checked the Converter (AC to DC).  It is a WFCO Model WF-8735LiS.  The Converter output is listed as 14.6 VDC 32.5 A (Li), and 13.6 VDC 35A (LA).  I found the small switch at the panel top-right that switches between Li and LA.”

It's not the converter to determines the voltage drop it's the wire gauge and wire length. I have 12 ft of 4AWG wire to the battery and see a 0.18v drop, or 1.5%, up to 3% is acceptable. If 2AWG wire was used there would have been a 0.9% drop. If you want to upgrade change the wire size not the converter.
