We like the storage back behind the bed but thought it needed a slight modification. So instead of only one opening we made it into 3. So much easier to be able to set items on the top and yet still access other areas of the storage without having to move everything off the lid.

I agree that some way of locking the doors in the open position is needed. My wife hurt her finger when the door closed on her.
Anyone come up with a way to do this? Magnets seems like a good option.
