Help

We are plugged into shore power (last time was 4 nights ago and everything was working fine then) and...it’s a Friday night and nüCamp has not returned the call we made at noon (if I remember correctly, though, they close early on Friday)... and it has been cold last few nights. Today, on shorepower again.....

- LED lights are dim/blinking
- Alde is flashing red (has been working fine  on shore power or propane since new control board as of one month ago)
- invertor fan did not run when we plugged into shorepower nor has it run since

That said....
- outlets are working (we are using ceramic heater tonight)
-radio is working

Any ideas? Low battery (wet cell battery is about 3 yrs old) Why would that affect lights/heater if we are on shorepower????

Thanks, in advance, for ideas/suggestions!

    Oh and though it has even overcast cloudy and cold, we have had portable solar panel hooked up.
    Alde flashes on either electrical or propane.
    And, we were told when having work done on frig that our TV is not providing charge during travel- people who installed tow hitch on new car said they didn’t ask for it - they asked for a tow hitch and brake controller- they would have needed to ask specifically for us to activate charge wire” (who knew??? We didn’t)

    @Martha -
     what year and model do you have?

    If you have the analog Alde Control Panel the “Red LED flashes if the voltage to the boiler goes below 10,5 V (automatic resetting at higher voltage). Fixed light, the LPG boiler has become blocked (resetting by the central switch for LPG) or overheated (resetting by the main switch of the vehicle). The temperature sensors of the boiler could be defective as well (resetting not possible).”

    The 120v outlets only work on shorepower, so it sounds like you have a decent shorepower voltage.  The lights and appliances are wired for 12v and receive their power via the converter, so your converter may be the issue.

    Confirm that your battery is charged, turn off the Alde, unplug from shorepower and see if you can run the Alde on propane.

    Something similar happened to me several years ago (2018 T@Bs). I hadn't run on battery all summer, then went boondocking, no battery, no Alde heat pump,VERY cold. Checked my battery when I came back; in the spring when I reinstalled my battery, I had crossed the leads and shorted out the fuse on the lead from the battery to the trailer. Easy fix and now I remember to check my battery before EVERY trip.

    Did this get ever resolved ? Sounds like the converter isn't working and you've been draining the battery. Converter bad, breaker for the converter tripped, DC fuse for the converter feed blown or the wiring to/from the converter has an issue.
