Battery discharging when plugged into shore power?

I have a tab 320 since 2016. Bernie boondocking many times. Before a trip, I bring my tab home from RV storage, check battery voltage (typically 12.2-ish) and plug it in for a day or two. I also turn on the porch light and leave it on (for safety while parked in my driveway). I’ve always been confused about if I should have the battery connect switch “on” or “off” eh wen plugged in, but after reading many posts I learned that it must be on to accept a trickle charge from shore power, right? So that’s what I do. My question is if my battery is also simultaneously discharging due to having the porch light on, or any other light/pump running. I assume not since if plugged in, power to every device is supplied by the inverter. Is this true? Should I worry that my battery could be discharging under these conditions?

Be sure the battery charger circuit breaker in is flipped to on in the WFCO panel2017 T@B 320S 2019 Jeep Cherokee - Southern Connecticut

Plugged into shorepower, your 12v appliances (lights, pump, heat, etc) receive power via the converter and if the battery switch is turned “on”, your battery is simultaneously charging. Battery switch must also be turned “on” when towing (to allow for battery charging and to provide power to the break away brakes). Typically, the battery switch is turned off for storage and only after fully charging.Sharon / 2017 T@B CSS / 2015 Toyota Sienna Minivan / Westlake, Ohio

The LED lights in the trailer use a very small amount of power. If you are on shore power, the converter can easily keep up with the small load.
