I'm new at this (but I have a book coming) can anyone tell me if this readout on the solar monitor/app? To me it is not charging although the sun is out and there should be some charge.
Well, your battery is fully charged (13.71 V) and the controller will keep it topped off (you are in Float mode). The panels are producing 18.96 V, but no current is flowing because your battery is full.
If you turn on the fan on high you will see current flow and you may see your battery current go negative (meaning the fan is drawing power), but if the solar is supplying more than the battery requires, you will still see a positive current.
Thank you SAM, I was looking at the other posts in Solar and that was a question someone else had. Sorry to trouble you and clog up the forum. We're going out tomorrow withe the 320 and wanted to make sure all was ok. Thanks again!
