Brand new Tab 320, stove not working

Hi All!
i just bought a 2022 Tab a month ago and had my shakedown cruise over the weekend.  All seems to be ok except for the stove, which isn’t lighting.  I think the gas flow is fine because the hot water is great and set on gas only.  i tried a lighter to see if there is any airflow at all and i didn’t see any, and no smell either.  I held the button down on “lite” for awhile to get any air bubbles out.  i also turned the gas off then on again to about 1/3 open to see if some sort of auto shutoff gas leak thing was stopping the gas.  i read about that.  But it didn’t help.
i have called the dealership but i was wondering if anyone had a suggestion about a switch or something that i could try.  No suggestion is too obvious since I know almost nothing.
Thanks!

I have found that turning the gas off at the tank and disconnecting and reconnecting has worked for me. Especially when I have my portable cooktop hooked up to the outside gas connection.

Something to try that many on this forum have suggested, is once you reconnect the gas line open the valve very, very, very slowly. Almost to the point it seems like it is just barely turning.

In my older T@b I can clearly hear gas flowing when trying to light it so if you're not hearing anything there is likely no gas pressure. If the trailer is connected to power, the water heater might be a red herring, I think newer Alde systems have a setting to prefer electric over gas.

Typically the dealer does a walk through when a trailer gets picked up. Did you get one and did the stove work ? As already mentioned try opening the propane tank slowly, also check if there's propane left in the tank. I had a tank leaking once.

    Thanks all.
Grumpy_G  I was not connected to power and I had the Alde power setting on gas, with the electric source turned off.  They did a walk through but I dont think they actually turned the stove on during it.
Freespirit  I will try that, but i will be a bit sad if this is the long term solution.  The bugs will eat me alive!  :)
Elbolillo  Do you mean unhitching the gas tank right at the tank?

Correct. Disconnect at the tank.  Reconnect and turn the valve on.

As @JuniperDog is certain the Alde runs on gas there is no point in playing with the tank valve etc.. Plus he's never seen the stove work so there's a chance the line is plugged or kinked or something.

Have you made a large change in elevation? I've seen one report from a recent (2021) model owner stating that they have had to turn the tank off, disconnect it, and bleed the system when making large changes in elevation before the stove would work again.

@JuniperDog - is this an S model or clamshell?  The clamshell has a solenoid that turns off the gas flow when the hatch is closed.  It may be defective.

Actually, I have had my Alde running on gas and putting out hot water, but then have the outside gas connection not have gas flow to my cooktop. Simply turning the gas off, and disconnecting and reconnecting the valve at the tank has done the trick every time.

I’ll try disconnecting and reconnecting.  I just haven’t had time yet this week.
My unit is the S model, not the clamshell.
I live at about 2000 feet and went up to about 3300 feet for this trip.  I dont think that would make a difference would it?  Mind you, it was sold to me at about sea level and presumably the techs at the dealership confirmed that the stove was working when the unit arrived there.  I would hope so anyway?!?
Thanks again for the advice everyone.   I have an appointment with a local rv dealership but of course that isn’t for almost a month….but if i have any luck before then i will let you know.
PS:  I tried turning the tank off and then turning it on again very slowly and that didn’t work.

So I disconnected the propane and then reconnected, then turned it on very slowly.  Still nothing.
The RV service people would like the serial number of the stove to do some digging before they see it.  Does anyone know how to get the serial number?  It isn’t stamped anywhere visible on the stove so would probably have to start unscrewing the top.  I will check with nucamp technicians but if anyone happens to know?
Again, thanks for all the advice!
