Do you solo campers even use the stabilizers?

The rear ones always. All four most of the time.

Yes, always.  Even at home.  In addition to damping movement, I consider the stabilizers one more layer of anti-theft defense.

If my trailer is disconnected from my car, the stabilizers are down.  If I am staying hooked up (say, a quick overnight stay--e.g., a Harvest Hosts stop) I will forgo the stabilizers.

I was thinking just the opposite-my 320s outback seems a bit wobbly even with all 4 stabilizers down.

For us it’s just like @PNWtabber, down when disconnected but up if still hooked to the tow vehicle. The 400 is way more stable with them down when disconnected.

If overnighting while still hooked up, we'll usually put down just the rear stabilizers. The exception would be if we're not too sure about the location and feel we might need a quick escape.
