Has anyone had experience with a storage cover for their T@B 400 BD? I am looking on Amazon for one but none seem to list fitting a T@B 400. I live in Washington state and plan to cover 400 for several months this winter. Any help, suggestions or opinions will be appreciated.

It covers pretty nicely and is large enough to cover the tongue box but not the whole tongue platform. The access is easy, it is not really too difficult to put on or take off by one person and so far holds up well (purchased in Mar-22). I leave it on whenever I am not on the road. It is in a lot where there is some tree cover so it is not 100% exposed to all the elements. Price is so much less that other t@b specific covers.

With the T@B 400 being 18 feet, does this cover really work or did I get to a different cover somehow?
Thank you!

Yes, the link I provided was the cover that fit my '22 400 boondock. It actually was a nice fit, not too tight or not baggy. It lasted 2 years before it started to rip. For this year's winterization, I tried to get the same, but they were out of stock. I decided to try another one from classic accessories,

This cover also covers and fits as well as the other. However, it is much lighter and is made of ripstop nylon. Too early to say which one I would prefer.
Please note that the cover does fit over the front storage tub but is not long enough to cover the wide, front rack. If you have the side mounted storage tubs it probably won't cover those either.
Hth, let me know if you have anymore questions. We are currently camping in Ocala National forest in Florida.

Since it is lighter in weight, it is easier to install and remove/store. The polypro was heavier material and also came with a storage bag, it was huge, probably 24x36. I use a technique for installing that allows me to do it myself and it only takes a couple of minutes. Being heavier the polypro was a bit more difficult.
Time will tell on the permapro. We just got back from a trip and returned the camper to the storage lot yesterday, cover installed. Next time I'm in the area I'll get a pic to you.
As far as your question about which keeps it cooler, that is hard to tell since I ony go into the trailer infrequently with a cover on. Both covers do allow some sunlight to pass thru since I can see solar battery charging activity (via Victron) with covers installed. I would think the IR (heating spectrum) would be similar. Also, there is a ventilation "pockets" on either side but located at the top. Not sure how effective they really are tbh. I do keep the bath vent open (original dome) and the main cabin vent (modto the maxxair delux) opened a bit (cover prevents full opening) plus have front and side windows in the locked venting position. Here in "South" Jersey it works well for me.

We live in FL and store our t@b 400 at an RV storage lot on a nearby Air Force Base. Always use a cover and have normally purchased them from PahaQue Wilderness for around $600. In FL they normally last us two years. We were recently at the August 2025 nucamp rally and during the Swap Meet purchased a cover from ProAdventure. These normally run the same but we got this one for $200. I like the straps that are used to secure both sides under the trailer on the ProAdventure better than the PahaQue. Its not an exact fit and I mean the zippered panel that covers the door is just a bit off but it isn't an issue for us. For us, using a cover while in storage has been a life saver as the roof seals around the fans etc remain in great condition. My wife and I can usually put the cover on or take it off in about 20-mins. and we're old.
It works very well and I felt that at the cheaper cost I could buy a new cover every few years rather than a very expensive cover. The 16' 2" fit mine and like the previous description will cover the storage box. I live in the southeast US and it does a great job keeping the tree "stuff" off the camper.
It does keep the camper cooler. It has the bonus that it leaks enough sunlight through to keep my battery topped off via the solar. You won't be charging much, but if the trailer is sitting in some sun it'll pull in just enough to top it off. This is helpful as I keep the battery warmer switch on so that on cold days the battery can use some of its energy to warm it so that it can be charged. I note it stays 100% throughout the winter. Note we don't get any snow of consequence where I live.
I note that some people use pool noodles or other things to prevent the cover from scratching the windows. I have not done anything special in that regard, yet, but I may for long term protection (since I already made some minor scratches on my window from using a dirty sponge that had grit in it.)
Having someone help you put it on lessens the likelihood that you'll drag the cover over the front or rear window, but with a ladder I can wrestle it on. I'm very happy with this cover.
