Battery disconnect

sorry if this is repetitive - but- I only found one reference to removing the fuse at the battery box as a 'battery disconnect'. Is this sufficient to prevent battery discharge during storage? My 2016 T@B does not have a factory disconnect switch and I'm wondering if it's a good idea to put one in.

Yes, pulling the fuse does the job. Just....put the fuse in an obvious place...and keep a set of spare 30 amp fuses in your trailer. They are easy to lose! Another way is to take the negative battery cable off, but it is not as convenient as just pulling the fuse. You can wire up a battery switch fairly easily, if you have some decent wiring skills. Or, these little devices are inexpensive, and do the job easily. Here is another thread that discusses a switch install, and has an example of the device in the Amazon link installed on a battery. And: yes, it is a good idea to put one in!
